Mississippi is a state known for its authors - William Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, Walker Percy, Willie Morris, John Girsham, Shelby Foote. Eudora Welty is one of those gems who are from the Magnolia State. She spent almost all of her life in Jackson, and is the beloved daughter of this city. Here is a wonderful Eudora Welty quote - “it doesn't matter if it takes a long time getting there; the point is to have a destination.” These are photos taken around the grounds of the main public library in Jackson, Mississippi named appropriately after Eudora Welty.
