Reflection for first Monday of Lent - 3/10/2014

Sometime photos or images speak in ways that words cannot.  Here are some photos of St Matthew Church in Ripley, Mississippi, where I celebrate the mass in Spanish every Sunday morning at 8:00 am.  I love the way the church is decorated for Lent, especially the pile of rocks in front of the altar.  As I said, these images speak in a very profound way to us on our Lenten journey.
