Lord Jesus - You are the resurrection - Lord have mercy.
Christ Jesus - You give us new life - Christ have mercy.
Lord Jesus - You are the light of the world - Lord have mercy.
PRIEST: Christ is Risen, and the power of His resurrection fills the world with new life. With hope and expectation, we therefore bring him all our needs.
1. That the Church may boldly and faithfully proclaim the Resurrection of Christ to the world.
2. That the leaders of the Church may embody the mysteries of new life which we celebrate in our liturgy.
3. That the leaders of our nations and world may give priority to those with greatest need, especially in this time of crisis.
4. That in the light of Christ's victory over death, nations may work together to overcome violence against all, especially the poor, the weak, & the unborn.
5. For the sick and shut-in, for those battling the COVID-19 virus, for our medical professions and first responders who are serving us in our time of need.
6. For those prayers we hold in our hearts.
PRIEST: God of glory, you know the deepest desires of our hearts. As we celebrate the Resurrection, make us faithful to you in all we do. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
