Catholic prayer for the end of the school year

As our students end their school year this week here in Mississippi, we lift up our prayers for them:

God of wisdom and justice,
we thank you for all the gifts and blessings you have given our students throughout the school year.
We praise for the gift of life and for the gift of new life that we have in Christ.
We give thanks for the curiosity and enthusiasm of our students, for their desire to learn and grow.
As our school year comes to an end, we thank their teachers, parents, and all the school staff and volunteers who have helped them.
Bless them in their leisure and their activities during the summer break.
May they come back in August refreshed and ready to start the new school year.
Please protect our students during their travel and their activities.
Help them grow and develop in their faith.
We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever.  AMEN.
