Bulletin reflection - 28th Sunday in ordinary time - 12 October 2025

Next weekend, I will be able to celebrate the Saturday evening Mass at Holy Savior, but on Sunday morning, Father McGing will be celebrating the two masses as I travel to my hometown of Chicago to attend a workshop on the theme of restorative justice in the context of prison ministry, made possible by a grant I received from the Catholic extension society, for which I am very grateful. Gratitude is the theme of our Gospel today, as we hear of the leper who returns to Jesus to express his gratitude after having been healed. So often we do not express our gratitude and our thanksgiving the way we should. So often we are so busy and over burdened and over worked that we might not time to feel this gratitude in our hearts. Let us give thanks to God today for the gift of our faith, for the many different people we have in our lives, and for the blessings we have from God. Blessings to you this weekend and in the upcoming week. Father Lincoln.
