Lord Jesus - you call us to hope - Lord have mercy.
Christ Jesus - you founded the Church here at earth - Christ have mercy.
Lord Jesus - you reconcile the world to yourself - Lord have mercy.
Priest: In our humility, let us present our prayers to our heavenly Father:
1. We pray for the Church and all our Church leaders, lay and ordained, that we all may work together in evangelizing the world.
2. For a continuation of the synodal process at work in the Church.
3. For all consecrated religious brothers and sisters, that the Lord will give them the strength and wisdom to live out their vocations.
4. For all who are suffering in different ways, that they may feeling God bringing healing and wholeness in their lives. We pray for all the sick and the afflicted.
5. For peace and reconciliation in places throughout the world who are suffering from war, terrorism, and violence, that we may all work toward peace.
6. As we celebrate St Teresa of Avila today, we pray for members of the Carmelite order throughout the world.
7. For the prayers we hold in our hearts today.
Priest: As we unite our prayers with the prayers of St Teresa of Avila. We present our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
