It is hard to believe that it is already the last weekend in July. This weekend, I am on a mission appeal in the Diocese of Des Moines in Iowa. I know that our Clinton public school students are already back in school and our other students will soon be returning. The beginning of the school year is full of new beginnings and back to a routine. Our faith also calls us to live out our calling to be disciples of Christ in the midst of our daily routine. Sometimes that journey can be clear and direct, but others times there can be ambiguity, struggles, or roadblocks. Wherever we are on our journey, Jesus calls us to have persistence and hope.
