15 July 2025 - Tuesday of the 15th week of Ordinary Time - Prayers of the faithful

Lord Jesus - You bring us the Good News of the Gospel. 

Christ Jesus - You forgive the sins of the contrite. 

Lord Jesus - You are seated at the right hand of the Father. 

Priest: With joy in our hearts, we present our prayers to our heavenly Father: 

1. That the fire of the Holy Spirit inspire us in the Church to give witness to God in the world. 

2. That we may embrace the cross as we experience opposition, hardship, or rejection and allow God to raise us to new life. 

3. For Pope Leo XIV and our Church leaders; may they help us to be a source of compassion and peace in their society

4. For all who are suffering for the sake of the Gospel. 

5. That the Holy Spirit will give us wisdom and empower us to live virtuously and generously. 

6. For the grace to live with the unknown. In times of loss, may we trust God, who is with us even when answers or new beginnings are not apparent.

7. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.

Priest: We present our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
