Bulletin Reflection - The Most Holy Trinity - 15 June 2025

On 20 May 2025, Christians all over the world commemorated the 1700th anniversary of the opening of the Council of Nicaea, which took place in Asia Minor in the year 325. This council produced the Nicene creed, which has become the distinctive expression of our Church’s faith in Jesus Christ, which we profess at all of our Sunday Masses. Defining our belief in the Most Holy Trinity is one of the distinctive marks of the Nicene Creed. We commemorate the Most Holy Trinity each year on the Sunday after Pentecost. The Early Church Fathers and Mothers spent a lot of time discussing the Trinity and defining our belief in the Trinity. Next weekend, we will celebrate the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. I love these feast days that celebrate important aspects of our faith. Blessings to all of you - have a good week - Father Lincoln.
