17 June 2025 - prayers of the faithful - Tuesday of the 11th week in Ordinary Time

Lord Jesus - you call us to faith.

Christ Jesus - you invite us to be a part of the Church, the Body of Christ.

Lord Jesus - you call us to unity.

Priest: As we pray that we can all contribute in different ways to the kingdom of God, we present our prayers to our heavenly father:

1. For all who are called to lead us and guide us in the faith, including Pope Leo XIV and Bishop Kopacz. That their ministry will help us all to grow closer to God.

2. For world leaders and those in government, that they will

do all they can to care for our world and protect its resources.

3. For farmers, gardeners, and agricultural workers that, working in the beauty of the natural world, they may find themselves close to God. We pray for a bountiful harvest.

4. For all who are unemployed or looking for work. My God lead them to where they need to be.

5. For those who are sick or suffering, elderly or infirm, that they will find comfort and healing in Christ.

6. For all who have died, that knowing the forgiveness of God, they may enter their everlasting home in heaven.

7. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.

Priest: God our Father, your love for us is unconditional and eternal. May we always know that love and walk in the light of your presence. We ask our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
