Lord Jesus - you bring healing to the sick.
Christ Jesus - you hear the cry of the poor.
Lord Jesus - you call us to be missionary in spirit.
Priest: With humble hearts, we now present our prayers to our heavenly Father:
1. That we in the Church may learn to be completely dependent on God.
2. That God will ease the suffering of the sick and the afflicted, bringing healing to them in body, mind, and spirit.
3. For those who visit and bring spiritual nourishment to the sick and homebound.
4. That in our works of mercy, we may see Christ in those we serve.
5. For all who are seeking employment. That God will give them courage, open new opportunities for them.
6. In the month of remembrance, we pray for our deceased family members and loved ones and for all the souls in purgatory.
7. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts today.
Priest: Heavenly Father, we present our prayers today through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
