8 November 2026 - prayers of the faithful for the 32nd Sunday of Ordinary Time Cycle A

Lord Jesus - you call us to always be prepared.

Christ Jesus - you bring us the love and compassion of your Father.

Lord Jesus - you will come again in glory.

Priest: Trusting in God’s mercy and keeping watch for the coming of Christ, let us bring our needs and the needs of our world before our heavenly Father:

1. That communities everywhere may walk together as missionary sisters and brothers, bringing hope and the Good News to those experiencing loneliness, fear, or despair. We pray to the Lord.

2. For the Pope Leo’s November prayer intention: For the proper use of wealth. We pray for the proper use of wealth, that not succumbing to the temptation of selfishness, it may always be put at the service the common good and solidarity of those who have less. We pray to the Lord.

3. For vocations to the priesthood, the diaconate, consecrated religious life, and lay ministry. We pray to the Lord.

4. For those names inscribed in our book of remembrance. For all the faithful departed, for their entry into eternal life. We pray to the Lord.

5. That our world leaders and civil authorities may govern with prudence, justice, and a genuine commitment to peace. We pray to the Lord.

6. That those waiting for comfort, healing, or relief from hardship may feel the reassuring presence of Jesus in their lives. We pray to the Lord.

7. That all of us Catholics may grow in wisdom and keep our hearts open to the needs of our neighbor, serving them with works of mercy and charity. We pray to the Lord.

8. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts. For those who have asked for our prayers. We pray to the Lord.

Priest: With humility of heart, we present our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
