Lord God, Advent brings us a vision of the world made new, showing us that a world with your presence is a world without fear, a world of expectant longing for fulfillment. Fill our hearts with joy at the wonder of creation and at the wonder of the incarnation of your son.
As we light our two candles on our wreath today, we pray that we may be open to your grace, guiding us to the transformation of the world and guiding us to work for peace and justice. AMEN.
