St Hillary was the Bishop of Poitiers, France in the 4th Century and was named a Doctor of the Church. His feast day is 13 February. I love this quote of his, because it shows that there is an intrinsic relationship between the Church and the Word of God.
Quote - “The Church is the ship outside which it is impossible to understand the Divine Word, for Jesus spoke from the boat to the people gathered on the shore.”
