10/09/2011 - Cotton Harvest time - Mississippi Delta
Last Thursday, I went out to the Jordan family farm out in Carter Mississippi, down Highway 49West in Yazoo County. Bernie Jordan took this photo of me, entitling it - "A Cotton Pickin' Priest." I am very grateful to Bernie and his mom Kitty Jordan for being so welcoming to me and for showing me the wonders of the cotton harvest in Mississippi. Having grown up in Chicago and Orange County, California, this is a new, wonderful world for me.
