Lord Jesus - you call us to hope - Lord have mercy.
Christ Jesus - you founded the Church here at earth - Christ have mercy.
Lord Jesus - you reconcile the world to yourself - Lord have mercy.
Priest: In our humility, let us present our prayers to our heavenly Father:
1. We pray for the Church and all Church leaders, lay and ordained, that we all may work together in evangelizing the world.
2. For the synodal process at work in our home Dioceses and throughout the world, that the Holy Spirit may lead and guide the Church through this process.
3. For all religious brothers and sisters, that the Lord will give them the strength and wisdom to live out their vocations.
4. For all who are suffering in these challenging economic times, praying for the many businesses and families who are suffering. We pray for economic recovery and relief.
5. For healing for those who are afflicted in body, mind, and spirit.
6. For peace and reconciliation in places throughout the world who are suffering from war, terrorism, and violence, that we may all work toward peace.
7. For the prayers we hold in our hearts today.
Priest: As we unite our prayers with the prayers of St Teresa of Avila today, we present our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
