Feast Day of Mother Teresa of Calcutta - September 5 - quote - may we "do small things with love"
September 5 is the feast day of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who exemplifies Christian love and Christian to many throughout the world. I recently read an article entitled "Mother Teresa: A Saint who Conquered the Darkness." During much of her life, Mother Teresa struggled to overcome a dark night of the soul. We pray for all those who are overcome by darkness in their lives. We pray that we can overcome the darkness and experience the light of Christ as a presence in our lives. Mother Teresa once said: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” May we be that love of Christ to someone today. Mass at St Jude on the feast of Mother Teresa on September 5 will be at 6:00 pm.
