Good Morning God - a prayer for the morning -

Good Morning, God. 

You are ushering in another day. 

This morning untouched and freshly new.  

Here I come to ask you, God, if you will renew me, too.

Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday.
Let me try again, dear God, to walk closer in your way.

But, Father, I am well aware I cannot make it on my own.
Take my hand and hold it tight, for I cannot do it alone.
