Leaving for a retreat at the Trappist Abbey of Gethsemani in Kentucky
I am so thankful that tomorrow morning I will be traveling up from Tupelo through Tennessee and Kentucky to the Trappist Abbey of Gethsemani, the place where Thomas Merton lived as a Trappist monk. I will be there for a week-long retreat with my good buddy from seminary, Father Joe Koury of the Diocese of Lexington. I am looking forward to a time of renewal and prayer. I will try to post Sunday's homily later in the week. Blessings to all of you!
