One year anniversary of the tornado hitting Tupelo

\\

April 28th was the first year anniversary of the tornado that hit our city of Tupelo. Our church grounds were hard hit and we are still in the process of recovering.  So many people have helped us in our recovery efforts.  We are so thankful for our recovery and the many hands who have helped. And we at St James pray for all those individuals and organizations in our city who are still recuperating.  We are still hosting the Pre-School and Mothers Morning Out program of St Luke Methodist Church on our grounds.  We are glad to do our part of help even though we are still recovering ourselves.  We give thanks today for the wonderful spirit that is alive in Tupelo.

We made Stations of the Cross out of some of the trees that were torn down on in our campus by the tornado.  May they always be signs of hope for us.
