5/10/2015 – Blessing for high school graduates –

Eternal God,
in you we live, and we move, and we have our being.
In your will, we find our purpose; in your wisdom, we find our joy.

Bless our graduates today who are completing high school and who are beginning a new part of their journey.

Let them not be worried about the past nor be anxious about the future.
Let them feel your presence with them in the here and now.

Strengthen their faith and ease their fears that they may courageously follow your Spirit and fully live fully out their vocation and calling.

When they feel doubt and confusion about their purpose, light their way and give them peace in your plan for them.
Let them use the gifts they have received in their studies that they may become a source of inspiration and blessing for the world.

And when each day is ended, give them delight in knowing that the good work you have begun in them shall come to completion in you.

May Almighty God bless you graduates – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - Amen.
