Baptismal shells - St James the Greater

Since our parish is St James the Greater in Tupelo, Mississippi, and since the scallop shell is his symbol, one of our wonderful liturgy committee members Christi Houin painted these scallop shells for us to use in our baptisms and to give to the families as a remembrance of that day.  Our first scallop shell will be used today for the baptism of Grace Weatherford, daughter of Corrie and Jason Weatherford and granddaughter of Kathy and Greg Weatherford.  What a wonderful remembrance these families will have of the baptism of their children.
