30 August 2026 - bulletin reflection for the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary time CYCLE A

It is hard to believe that the month of August is coming to a close. This week, we celebrate the feast day of St Fiacre, a monk from Ireland who moved to France and who used herbs from his garden to cure and heal people. He is the patron saint of gardeners, and of Parisian taxi drivers as well, an interesting combination. I love the story of St Fiacre. He has become very popular with gardeners and his statue is found in many gardens. This weekend, I am at the last mission appeal of the year, at the parish of St Kathryn in the town of Hudson, New Hampshire. Have a blessed week everyone. Father Lincoln.
