Lord Jesus - you have great love for your people.
Christ Jesus - you call us to faithfulness.
Lord Jesus - you are the fulfillment of God’s laws and commandments.
Priest: In the humility of our faith, we present our prayers to our loving God:
1. That we in the Church may be a light in times of confusion and turmoil through the witness of our lives and our care for others.
2. For the grace of discernment. That we may understand the signs of the times and recognize God’s presence, action, and invitation each day.
3. For the gift of hope. That no matter what challenges we face, we may remain confident that with God, all things are possible
4. For all who are facing crisis, loss, or grief. That the Spirit of God will guide them and comfort them.
5. For our children, youth, and college students. That the Lord will continue to guide them and accompany them on their journey.
6. For the grace of forgiveness. That we may be open to God’s unending forgiveness and share it with those who have offended us.
7. For the repose of the souls of the faithful departed whom we remember in a special way during November. For the names inscribed in our book of remembrance.
8. For the prayers we hold in our hearts today.
Priest: With hope and love, we present these prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
