Prayers of the faithful - Tuesday of the 11th week in Ordinary Time - 20 June 2023

Lord Jesus - you call us to healing and wholeness.

Christ Jesus - you forgive the sins of the contrite.

Lord Jesus - you bring us the love of the Father.

With humble hearts, we bring our prayers to our heavenly Father:

For the Church and our Church leaders, may we be brought together in unity and solidarity as the people of the Eucharist.

For our governmental leaders, may they have the courage and strength to tackle the real problems that are afflicting us and that are dividing us as a society.

For those who are dealing with anger and a lack of patience in their lives, for those who are having trouble forgiving, for those who are battling mental illness, addictions, and depression, for healing and wholeness in their lives.

For those in prison, for victims of crime and violence, that the Lord heal them heal and accompany them on their journey.

For the sick and shut-in, for those in the hospital, hospice, and nursing home.

For the respose of the souls of the faithful departed.  For their entry into eternal life.

For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.

As we continue our journey during these days of ordinary time, we present our prayers through Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
