Lord Jesus - you proclaim the kingdom of God.
Christ Jesus - you desire for us to follow God’s law and commandments.
Lord Jesus - you bring us the love of the Father.
As we continue our journey during ordinary time, we present our prayers to our heavenly Father with faith and hope:
1. That the Lord lead our Church leaders in wisdom, patience, and compassion.
2. That the Lord will protect and encourage those who are lonely and those who live alone.
3. That the Lord accompany our children, youth, and families in the summer activities and keep them safe in their travels. We pray for our youth who are attending the One Bread One Cup liturgy camp in St Meinrad, Indiana.
4. That the Lord will empower us to works of mercy not just in our words but also in our actions.
5. That all Christians be missionary disciples, striving to evangelize and bring the Gospel message to others.
6. For those who need healing body, mind, and spirit. For the repose of the souls of the faithful departed.
7. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.
Heavenly Father, with faith and hope, we present our prayers through your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
