Lord Jesus - you call us to be people of prayer.
Christ Jesus - you bring us hope.
Lord Jesus - you are the beloved son of the Father.
Priest: With faith and hope, we present our prayers to God:
1. For our Church leaders, that they may lead us into a deeper life of prayer.
2. For national, state, and local governmental officials, that they may lead us in justice and hope.
3. For our process of reimagining ministry in our Diocese: that we may look creatively at the way we minister in our parishes and in our Diocese, with the Holy Spirit leading us and guiding us to truly be Church.
4. For healing for all of us in body, mind and spirit. For those in the hospital, hospices, and nursing homes.
5. For our deceased family members, loved ones, and community members. For their entry into eternal life. For the souls in a process of purification in purgatory.
6. For our families during the summer vacations. For safe travels and for an awareness of God’s presence in all their travels and activities.
7. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.
Priest: We present our prayers through your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. Amen.
