Lord Jesus - you are the vine and we are the branches
Christ Jesus - you bring us closer to the father.
Lord Jesus - you call us to faith.
With humble hearts, let us present our prayers to God:
1. For those feeling grief or despair: that the Spirit will help them recognize God’s love for them, give them new hope, and lead them to new life.
2. For those who feel trapped in life, that God will free them and lead them to help.
3. For all who have been displaced by war, famine, or natural disasters: that God will protect them from harm, touch the hearts of many to reach out and assist them, and lead them to places of safety.
4. For all who are graduating this spring: that they will find good ways to use their gifts and skills so that they may contribute to society and find meaning and satisfaction in their work or their continued education.
5. For good stewardship of natural resources: that we may honor God’s work of creation through caring for the earth, water, and air that we share so that all may enjoy and share in its benefits.
6. For the prayers we hold in our hearts.
In faith and hope, we present these prayers through your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
