Lord Jesus - you call us to hope.
Christ Jesus - you bring us to new life.
Lord Jesus - you are our savior and redeemer.
The Lord crowns our lives with goodness, so we present our intercessions with confidence:
1. For the members of the Church, that their hearts may be always hear God’s word and that they may reflect upon it in their hearts.
2. For new converts to the Christian faith, that the Word of God may be firmly rooted in their lives.
3. For all whose are struggling in their faith and for those who are no longer fully engaged in the Church, that the love of God may make them what they are called to be.
4. For farmers who grow our food, that this year’s crop may bring a bountiful harvest.
5. For those who are far from home, for work or on holidays, that they may experience kindness, and travel in safety.
6. For the sick and the shut-in and for the repose of the souls of the faithful departed.
God our creator, you provide for our needs. Listen to the prayers we make to you today, through Christ our Lord forever and ever. Amen.
