Prayers of the faithful - Wednesday of the 9th week of Ordinary Time - 07 June 2023

Lord Jesus - you are the beloved son of the Father. 

Christ Jesus - you intercede for us and plead our cause. 

Lord Jesus - you are our savior and redeemer. 

Priest:  As we celebrate the weeks of ordinary time, we present our prayers with faith and hope:

1. For the Holy Church: may we always live out our identity as the body of Christ in our words and our actions.  

2. For all Christians: may we deepen our devotion to the Eucharist. 

3. For vocations to ordained and lay ministry.  May all discern God’s call in their lives. 

4. For a strengthening of families and marriages.  For all families who are traveling during the summer break. 

5. For our deceased family members, community members, and loved ones.  For their entry into eternal life. 

6. For healing for the sick and the shut-in.  

Priest: With humble hearts, we present our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever.  AMEN
