8/26/2012 - End of bread of life discourse this Sunday
Every three years in our cycle of readings, we hear the bread of life discourse from the sixth chapter of John's Gospel. Reflecting upon Jesus' words in this chapter help us to meditate upon the Eucharist which we receive in our Holy Mass. Hopefully, meditating on these words will give us new perspective and help us really think about these things that we so often take for granted in our faith. I hope that these Gospel readings from John's Gospel have made an impact on us this year and to think about these important matters of faith, especially with all that is going on in our modern world today.
