Let us pray -
St James the Greater, Apostle of our Lord, Jesus Christ,
You were chosen among the first
apostles by our Lord.
You were the first to drink the
Cup of the Master, the first Apostle to die a martyr for the faith.
Many centuries after you
walked the face of the earth, you are the great protector of pilgrims.
You are a great evangelizer for the Catholic faith in the modern world.
Make us strong in our faith.
Make us joyful in hope on our
pilgrim journey as we follow the path of Christian life.
Sustain us today and every
day of our lives with your prayers and intercession so that we may finally reach the glory
of God the Father.
In the name of the Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. AMEN.
