Lord Jesus - you proclaim the kingdom of God.
Christ Jesus - you are our Savior and Redeemer.
Lord Jesus - you are the resurrection.
Priest: With humble hearts, let us present our prayers to our heavenly Father.
1. That our Church leaders made lead our communities to reconciliation and healing.
2. For places that are experiencing drought or who lack clean drinking water, that their needs be met.
3. For the homeless, the poor, the hungry, and those who are struggling to make ends meet for their families.
4. For those who are persecuted for their faith or do not have the freedom to practice their faith or those who are mocked or ridiculed for their faith.
5. For all students, parents, teachers, and school administrators, that the Lord may bless them this school year.
6. For all Catholics here in the United States, that they grow in their love for their faith and for the Eucharist in the Eucharistic revival in our country.
7. For healing for the sick. For the faithful departed, for their entry into eternal life.
8. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts today.
Priest: As we continue our journey during the weeks of ordinary time, we present these prayers through your son, Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
