Lord Jesus - you call us to faith.
Christ Jesus - you call us to holiness.
Lord Jesus - you call us to works of action.
With faith and hope, we present our prayers to our heavenly Father:
1. For the Church: that the power of Christ’s resurrection may give us vision and perspective and the courage to live for God each day.
2. That we may grow in our faith, recognizing our need for God in every part of our lives and deepening our trusting reliance upon God.
3. That we may reach out to the poor and suffering in works of charity and mercy.
4. That we may see beyond the false answers of consumerism and materialism and recognize that we will only find the true fulfillment of our hungers and desires in God.
5. For healing for the sick in body, mind, and spirit.
6. For the prayers we hold in the silence in our hearts.
Lord, we thank you for the blessings we have in life. We thank you for your grace that helps us meet our challenges. We present our prayers through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
