Prayers of the faithful - 15th week in ordinary time - 7 July 2020

Lord Jesus - you sow seeds in our lives - Lord have mercy. 

Christ Jesus - you bring us God's holy word - Christ have mercy.  

Lord Jesus - you bring us eternal life - Lord have mercy.  

We now bring our prayers to our heavenly Father:

For all of our Church leaders, that they lead us to be better Christians and to bring God word to others.  We pray especially for Bishop Kopacz as he travels today on his vacation.  

For our governmental leaders, as they lead their people through this challenging time.  May they help keep their people safe and help us to navigate this pandemic.  

For hope for the hopeless, food for the hungry, strength for those who are battling addictions, healing and wholeness for the sick, consolation and comfort for the anxious and the lonely. 

For the repose of the souls of the faithful departed, for their entry into eternal life. 

For those prayers we hold in our hearts, for all the prayers being offered at our mass today. 

Heavenly Father, with humble hearts, we present these prayers to you through your son Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever.  AMEN.
