Cafe con leche - a simple pleasure from Spain that warms my heart
Sometimes it is the simplest thing in life that can warm our hearts. On a day when I was not feeling well, I thought about the cafes con leche that we had as a little treat in the midst of a rough day hiking on the Camino in Spain. A little embrace of love, embodied in a little cup of steamed milk with a couple of shots of expresso. I was drinking the little bit of joy in a cup in the bus station in Sarria, waiting for a bus. Thank you Camino for the unexpected pleasures in life.
