Lord Jesus - you are our redeemer.
Christ Jesus - you were raised from the dead.
Lord Jesus - you bring us salvation.
Priest: With faith in the Risen Lord, we now bring our prayers before God the Father:
1. That the Holy Spirit may continue to teach and guide us in truth and faith.
2. For that leaders of the nations may seek the peace that comes from justice, wisdom, and respect for all people. For peace in the Middle East and Ukraine.
3. For our veterans and the men and women serving in the military. For all who have given their lives in service to our country. For our first responders.
4. For all who are ill and affected. For all who have asked for our prayers.
5. For our deceased loved ones and family members. For those who have died recently. May they share fully in the joy of the resurrection and the promise of eternal life.
6. For our seminarians and our deacon candidates. For all who are discerning a vocation in the Church.
7. For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.
Priest: Loving God, you make your home with us and you gift us with your peace. Hear these prayers we offer in the name of Jesus, your Son and our Risen Lord. Amen.day of the 9th week of ordinary time
